LLB Course Syllabus:
The duration for the Bachelor of Laws [LLB] course is 3 years divided into 6 semesters. LLB course in correspondence can be pursued by students part-time or full time. To practice law before the courts or tribunals in the country, they have to enroll and clear the exam by the Legal education apex body in India i.e. Bar Council of India.

Q.1 How can I get admission in LLB?

Ans. Three-year LLB entrance exams: There is no upper age limit for admission. However, a candidate must be at least 17 years of age on the date of application. A graduation degree with 45% marks (40% for reserved category) is the basic qualification required.

Q.2 Can LLB be done privately?

Ans. But if you are a graduate then you may take direct admission in LL.B. yeah …you can do LLB. Universities like Agra, Kuk University, Alwar etc they provide for private LLB but that is of no use if you really want your future in this very field then you should go for Regular Degree in law.

Q.3 What is the age limit for LLB admission?

Ans. The Bar Council Of India has withdrawn the age restriction to take admission in law courses. The students are allowed to take admissions in colleges/universities in LLB or LLM courses without any age limit. the general category for the LLB Course was 30 years and for SC/ST and OBC, the age limit was 35 years.

Q.4 Is LLB done after the 12th?

Ans. Yes, you can apply for LLB after 12th. You may either choose BA LLB or BBA LLB five year integrated the undergraduate program. You need to give the entrance examination for getting admission. Every college conducts its own entrance examination.

Q.5 What is the salary of a lawyer per month in India?

Ans. 30k-2lac per month salary.

Q.6 Who is eligible for LLB?

Ans. General category candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation degree.
For SC/ST category, they must score 40% marks in their qualifying degree.
For OBC, PwD and CW category, a minimum score of 45% is required in the qualifying degree.

Q.7 Can I do 3 years LLB after 12th?

Ans. LLB is one of the most commonly opted for law courses after 12th, and its duration is 3 years. If you want to take up the integrated course, then you can get admission to the 5-year integrated program after the completion of 10+2 exams.

Q.8 What is the difference between 3 year LLB and 5 year LLB?

Aspirants can apply for the 5 years course after your 10+2, and the 3 year LLB only after graduation. Candidates who have passed 12th examinations and want to choose Law as a career then go for 5 years LLB course. Aspirants who have a bachelor’s degree are eligible to pursue a 3 year LLB course.

Q.9 Can I do LLB after the 10th?

Ans. Well, at the moment, it is not possible to study law directly after 10th in India. The minimum qualification required to study law is- 10+2 passed in any stream. 10th passed students, who want to study law, must go for 11th and 12th standard schooling in any stream- Science, Commerce or Arts.

Q.10 Is the entrance exam necessary for LLB?
Ans. Most colleges these days are preferring to offer BA LLB course to the candidates which can be taken after completing 12th standard. It is mandatory to appear for the entrance exam for the BA LLB course. The name of the entrance exam is CLAT.
